Well, it took way too long, and it took far too much acrimony, but finally, FINALLY the KKK is getting what it deserves as President Trump is set to declare it a Domestic Terrorist Organization and apply all national anti-terrorist countermeasures against it.
For those of you who missed it, I've been asking for this to happen for a very long time, most recently on July 6th of 2020.
Yes, over 100 years too late, the KKK is being labeled, officially, as a terrorist organization and I couldn't be happier. Will I get a burning cross in my driveway for this article? Likely not, but if it were to happen, I would consider it a badge of honor, and it would be well worth it to express my utter disdain, loathing, and visceral hatred of their organization, their beliefs, and their actions both old and new.
I want to leave ZERO doubt in anyone's mind, I am as far from the KKK as it is possible to be and I denounce each and every racial doctrine, social doctrine, and political agenda of the Ku Klux Klan. I hope we stomp out their ideology, sociology, and soteriology from existence, and I hope it happens IN MY LIFETIME so that my children will not have to fight this battle or worry about them, ever.
YET THIS STORY GETS EVEN BETTER!!
As part of his, “Platinum Plan,” President Trump is going even farther than that. He's creating and releasing $500 BILLION dollars in business capital accessible ONLY by the Black American community, he's instituting job training and mentoring programs, and he's adding financial literacy classes and is doubling down on his commitment to historically black Universities and Colleges. THAT'S A WIN IN MY BOOK!
By doing this, President Trump is not only going after the KKK physically and legally, he's also going after their legacy of intimidation and destruction towards the Black American community by helping to empower black entrepreneurship and the Black American community as a whole.
By the way, for the nay-sayers who are about to tell me that this is only in reaction to Joe Biden calling him out at the last debate, such a statement shows a complete lack of understanding of how the American government works. A plan of this magnitude, with actual figures, scope, sequence, and goals attached doesn't get put together in a day or two, this has to have been in the works for months if not a year or more.
I don't really care who's doing it, and I don't really care what you think about him or her, the fact is that these steps have been needed for over a century and they are finally being taken. That gets me fired up and excited. I can't wait to see the results, and I hope the KKK knows well and good that they and their legacy are in the crosshairs.
I just wish I were the one signing the order and pulling the trigger.
