Most parents would never knowingly hand their child a pro-woke/hyper sexualized gender non-conforming book; nor would they allow their child's school to do so as evidenced by the flood of parents who are swamping school boards across the country. Yet, most parents are so disconnected from the world of entertainment that it has become the latest indoctrination ground, particularly now that the "woke" are losing their grip on our schools.
Lets step back for a moment into the 1960s. As we have chronicled before, there was an orchestrated movement by the left to get leftist teachers into our schools which was masterminded by Saul Alinsky. There were a number of people who attempted to call it out back then, but they got pushed to the background and told that they were just overreacting and making mountains out of molehills.
Well, here we are sixty years later and we see the consequences of ignoring it.
Today, as schools are being increasingly pushed away from this leftism, and with more and more people unplugging from public education in favor of homeschooling or private schooling, the left has opened a new battlefront in the culture war, and most well meaning parents are simply unaware.
That front? Children's television and video games.
You see, most parents today are not gamers, and though I am, most in my generation are not, yet their children will be as they age. Thusly, the left has focused on skewing games and gamer related storylines (especially younger ones) to the same leftism that was formerly being pushed through our school system, and most parents do not even know it because they do not play games.
How do they get these kids ready for these games and their agendas even though those concepts should be far more socially advanced than they can handle? Through taking over beloved children's IPs (Intellectual Properties) such as Star Wars, Transformers, He-Man, She-Ra, heck, even the Smurfs and pushing them in bite sized chunks which children internalize and digest which prepares them to play as these characters in games later causing them to ideate what it would be like to actually be that person/gender/non-gender/sexuality/wokeist ideology point.
You see, this is not just a haphazard coincidence. It is a well orchestrated and designed campaign to get this content fed directly to our children without the "meddling parents" getting in the way.
This is why parents need to care about Disney, Amazon, Neteflix, Ubisoft, Activision, Sony, Paramount, and other entertainment companies and what they are putting into their content. In sixty years, they will either be saying this is the point where America put its foot down against leftist ideology, or it will be the point where the movement of the 1960s found a way to continue to corrupt our society, just in a new form.
If you do not get involved, if you do not write letters, cancel subscriptions, post on social media, and in all other ways fight back, then this will not only stop, but it will even more fundamentally change the worldview of our children well beyond what our schools ever could.
You see kids absorb in school because they must.
Yet kids absorb through games, movies, and shows because they want to, and therefore it is much more impactful.
That is why it is so important.
Our country, us, and more importantly you, cannot ignore this without dire consequences for the future of our nation.
